Q: How do I get my Income Snowball to sustain itself so I don’t have to continue to work and add my earned income to the Snowball anymore?
A: If your financial freedom date is 5 years from now, there are a ton of variables that will effect whether you will make it to that date. Your Tardus coach and our software is the key. No one’s life stays exactly the same over a 5 year period. You won’t get paid exactly same amount for 5 years, you won’t spend exactly the same amount, your kid’s educational expenses aren’t static and your basic needs will change. You may get married or divorced, you may have children or have them move out to college, you can change careers, or have to care for an aging parent. How will you pay for these events, some expected, some not expected and make it to your financial freedom date?
To ensure you know what to do to make it to your debt-freedom and financial freedom date, you will need to consult with your coach, and constantly revisit and revise your plan every few months so it changes as your circumstances do. That’s why we developed the Money-Wise Pro program beyond your first year. It gives you the best of both worlds. You get access to the weekly cash flow accelerator webinars that help you find new ways to improve your cash flow, entry
into the Wealth Revolution Competition, and you get to meet with your coach every quarter to change and revise your plan to ensure you become financially free on time.
And regardless if your financial freedom date changes, the amount of your line of credit flip or your investment changes, you’ll have a direct line to your coach so you know exactly what to do – no matter what!
To Mariano, growing up - math meant family. His Dad opened Hallmark stores and - besides Mariano being an amazing shortstop in little league - his life was about unpacking boxes, opening new stores and doing bookkeeping for the family business. And he loved it. Reconciling numbers was indisputable and impartial (unlike many umpires - or his mom) and it became one of the few things he discovered he could really trust in life.
So, being a shortstop skeptic, he had his doubts when he heard about the “too good to be true” claims he thought Tardus was making. But when he found Tardus, he needed something too good to be true.
After his mom passed away in ’99, his dad became his responsibility as the oldest son and, of course, he welcomed it. However, the financial impact was substantial - well into 6 figures over the last 10 years of care. But Carlos - a great friend and great CSC (Tardus coach) - brought the possibility of Tardus into reality when he took Mariano to a meeting where Tanisha explained the “Income Snowball.”
Mariano remembers two things when Tanisha finished. He looked at hi buddy, Alan, and said, “Was this in front of us our whole life and we didn’t see it?” (No and Yes.) The other thing he felt was - relief. The impossible relief that he could retire even BEFORE he planned to retire; and even after plowing through his retirement for his father’s retirement. And the funny thing is, math means family again. It means understanding math and money in an entirely new way (and he’s been a floor trader and Registered Options Principal on the floor of the Pacific Stock exchange!).
He’s just one of the thousands of life-changing Tardus stories; because, the thing is, we all have a genuine shot at it with what Tardus offers. It is life-changing (with the help of great coaches) to discover you can actually change your and your family’s futures.

Earlier this year, we started using a new tagline. We didn’t make a big fuss about it, but perhaps it’s time to draw some attention to it and give you the story behind what these words mean to us.
Our past tagline was to Make the System Work for You. That’s definitely still a major piece of what we teach, however, as time goes on, it becomes more and more clear that the system is broken.
When you are trying on clothes, do you struggle to fit into the size you were in the past even if it’s not buttoning or falling off? Of course not! You adapt to what’s working for you right now.
You take the time to find the right fit. AND, if you don’t find something that’s exactly right, you tailor
it until it is.
I’m sure you are all familiar with the adage Work Smarter, Not Harder. This was the impetus
behind both our old tagline and the new one. So many people buy into the system and the belief that working hard is the same as working smart – but it’s not! And while our old tagline is still true, our strategies are constantly evolving and, we noticed, they are evolving AWAY from the system in creative and dynamic ways!
So here’s what we are finding to be true…It’s not about working with the system, it’s about working with your money – your CASH, whether that’s with the system or outside it. And even though we love the adage Work Smarter, Not Harder, we prefer not having you work at all!
When you use our program, eventually you won’t have to think about working hard or smart, your money will be doing all the work and you’ll just get to sit back and enjoy the benefits.
According to a research study about time use by Pew Research Center, caring for your family was rated as the most meaningful way to spend your time when compared to paid work, leisure, and housework. HOWEVER, it was also rated to be the most exhausting of those four.
For anyone with a family – I’m sure you already know this! Here are some quick tips for making your life easier so you spend more time doing what you love and less time getting ready for it!
Prepare the night before – mornings can be especially hectic but a little prep the night before can save loads of time. Lay out the clothes you and your kids will be wearing, place purses and backpacks by the door, make lunches, and even put your coffee maker on a timer so you can be ready to go first thing.
Plan meals ahead – there’s nothing worse than being hungry and staring at your fridge or pantry at 630 pm with no idea what to do. If you plan ahead, the heavy lifting is already taken care of and all that’s needed is to put on some music and get to work cooking the ingredients you already have on hand.
Talk to your boss about flexible work hours – do you need a longer lunch break or to come in earlier or later than most employees? Speak up! You may be surprised at what they can do to accommodate your unique situation and this will allow you to stay focused at work and get your home life needs taken care of as well.
Leave work at work – as a follow up to #3, make sure you really leave work at work when you are home. You’ll find that you are much more efficient and energized if you use your home time to focus on family and leisure instead of stressing about work that you can’t get to until tomorrow anyway.
Here’s to more time and freedom this fall. All it takes is a little extra thought and effort. Remember, work smarter, not harder.
